Ūnay (ऊनय्):—(von ūna), ūnayati unerfüllt lassen [DHĀTUP. 35, 36.] mā tvāya.o jari.uḥ kāmamūnayīḥ [Ṛgveda 1, 53, 3.] [Pāṇini’s acht Bücher 3, 1, 51.] [Scholiast] zu [6, 4, 75 und 7, 2, 5] (aunayīt und klassisch aunanat; auninat [Vopadeva’s Grammatik 18, 1]). ūnita = ūna [Hemacandra’s Abhidhānacintāmaṇi 130] : sahasrairvarṣāṇāṃ dvicatvāriṃśatonitā (koṭiḥ).
