I, 174 & Nd1 458 spells sacchika). ‹-› saccik’aṭṭha truth, reality, the highest truth Kvu 1 sq.; DhsA. 4 (nearly=paramaṭṭha); KhA 102. Kern in a phantastic interpretation (Toev. II. 49, 50) takes it as sacci-kaṭṭha (=Sk. sāci-kṛṣta) “pulled sideways, ” i.e. “misunderstood. ” (Page 668)
Pali is the language of the Tipiṭaka, which is the sacred canon of Theravāda Buddhism and contains much of the Buddha’s speech. Closeley related to Sanskrit, both languages are used interchangeably between religions.
