Rodas (रोदस्):—n. Du. Himmel und Erde. Am Anfange eines Comp. [Śiśupālavadha 19,106.] rodorandhra ([Śiśupālavadha 18,15]), rodaḥkuhara ([NALOD.3,32]), rodaḥkandarakuhara ([Bālarāmāyaṇa 95,7]) und rodogṛha ([ebend.] [126,20]) eine zwischen Himmel und Erde gelegene Höhlung u.s.w. In svargarodaḥkuhara [Bālarāmāyaṇa 23,15] hat rodas wie auch rodasī die Bedeutung Erde.
