Name eines Baumes, Putranjiva Roxburghii Wall., dessen Nüsse auf Fäden gereiht und Kindern um den Hals gebunden werden, um sie gesund zu erhalten, [Trikāṇḍaśeṣa 2, 4, 29.] putrajīva [Śabdakalpadruma] und [WILSON] nach ders. Aut.; so liest wohl der Text, aber in den Corrigg. wird die oben gegebene Form als die richtige Lesart bezeichnet. putrajīva hat auch [Colebrooke I, 134.] putraṃjīvaka m. dass. [Ratnamālā im Śabdakalpadruma] [Suśruta 2, 116, 14.]
