Pumaṃs (पुमंस्):—[?Z. 2, nach Manu’s Gesetzbuch MÜLLER (Gr. §. 212)] soll der loc. pl. punsu sein, wobei auf [Pāṇini’s acht Bücher 8, 2, 65] [?(lies 64]) verwiesen wird; hier ist aber bloss vom auslautenden ma einer Verbalwurzel die Rede. Ferner hat [MÜLLER] übersehen, dass, wenn diese Regel hier Geltung hätte, auch punbhis u.s.w. zu schreiben wäre.
