Pratiskandha (प्रतिस्कन्ध):—(1. pra + ska) m.

1) jede Schulter: paricchinnaṃ phalaṃ yatra pratiskandhena dīyate . skandhopaneyaṃ taṃ prāhuḥ saṃdhim je nach der Schulter, so viel Jeder auf der Schulter zu tragen vermag [Hitopadeśa IV, 122.] Statt pratiskandhena hat [KĀM. NĪTIS. 9, 19] skandhaḥ skandhena . —
