1) Adj. (f. ā) — a) widerhaarig , widrig , ungünstig , feindlich gesinnt. — b) der natürlichen oder vorgezeichenten Ordnung widersprechend , verkehrt , umgekehrt.

2) lomam und loma Adv. gegen das Haar , — den Strich ; so v.a. in umgekehrter Folge , — Richtung , verkehrt.

3) *m. [Mānavadharmaśāstra. ] pr. eines Mannes. Pl. seine Nachkommen.
