Praṇīta (प्रणीत):—partic. s. u. 1. mit pra . f.

1) pl. praṇītāḥ (sc. āpaḥ) das (am Morgen der Feier) herbeigeholte Wasser, Weihwasser [The Śatapathabrāhmaṇa 11, 1, 7, 2. 2, 6, 1. 12, 9, 3, 8.] [Aśvalāyana’s Śrautasūtrāni 1, 1.] [Kātyāyana’s Śrautasūtrāṇi 1, 3, 43. 2, 2, 8.] praṇītākāle so v. a. praṇītānāṃ praṇayanakāle [Śāṅkhāyana’s Śrautasūtrāṇi 4, 7, 1. 18, 24, 30.] Vgl. u. 1. mit pra, [?2 (Sp. 278, Z. 8 ist 11, 26, 1] zu streichen). —
