Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarypiḍhīcā (पिढीचा).—That is or that possesses hereditarily; that is or has obtained by descent; as piḍhīcā sampattimān-buddhimān-rōgī-daridrī Rich, wise, sickly, poor, and of rich, wise &c. parents and ancestors. piḍhīlā lātā māraṇēṃ or dēṇēṃ or pāya lāvaṇēṃ To rebel against paternal authority; and hence, against authority gen. 2 To fall short in payment even of the principal. piḍhī lāgaṇēṃ Said of the intermingling of two families in their course downwards.
