NĪTIS. 16, 30.] [Spr. 2882. Śiva] [Śivanāmasahasra] Bei der Uebersetzung von [Spr. 2500] ist jātyādi als abl. von mahotsāha m. gefasst worden; man könnte aber auch mahotsāhā na vermuthen. Derselbe [Spr.] lautet [ŚUK. ed. Bomb. 23] : ye ca martyā mahotsāhā nopagacchanti pārthivam . teṣāmāmaraṇaṃ bhikṣāṃ prāyaścittaṃ vinirdiśet .. mahāmahotsāha [4te] [Rājataraṅgiṇī 132.] Die Bed. a king, possessing all the appendages and powers of monarchy für das m. bei [WILSON] beruht auf folgendem unvollständigen Śloka in [Śabdamālā,] der im [Śabdakalpadruma] angeführt wird: saṃpannastu prakṛtibhirmahotsāhaḥ kṛtaśramaḥ; die fehlende 2te Hälfte lautet: jetumeṣaṇaśīlaśca vijigīṣuriti smṛtaḥ; vgl.
