Nomen proprium des daselbst wohnenden Volksstammes [Mahābhārata 3, 356. 908. 12576.] [Bhāgavatapurāṇa 1, 4, 6.] Statt kurujāṅgalam (angeblich ein copulat. comp.) ist beim [Scholiast] zu [Pāṇini’s acht Bücher 2, 4, 7] vielleicht kurukurujāṅgalam zu lesen; vgl. jedoch unter kuruvarṇaka .
