1) Name einer Giftpflanze (kiṃpāka, viṣatindu) [Pāṇini’s acht Bücher 6, 1, 156.] [Rājanirghaṇṭa im Śabdakalpadruma] [Mahābhārata 2, 1804.] [Bhāgavatapurāṇa 5, 14, 12.] Nach [Trikāṇḍaśeṣa 2, 4, 2] und [Hemacandra’s Abhidhānacintāmaṇi 114] Baum überh., zu welchem Missverständniss offenbar [Pāṇini’s acht Bücher 6, 1, 156] Anlass gegeben hat. —

2) m. pl. Nomen proprium eines Volkes [Mahābhārata 8,] [2066; v. l.] kāraskāra (LASSEN, Pentap. [67, 41]) und kāraskṛta [?(Rājataraṅgiṇī I, Pāṇini’s acht Bücher 554, 41).]
