1) Beiname Śiva’s [Trikāṇḍaśeṣa 1, 1, 45.] joṭīṅga und joṭin [Hemacandra’s Abhidhānacintāmaṇi 45.] —
2) = mahāvratin [Trikāṇḍaśeṣa 2, 7, 14.] Nach dem Ind. = uraskaṭa die über die Schulter getragene Opferschnur; nach [Wilson’s Wörterbuch] ein grosser Asket. Die letztere Bed. ist wahrscheinlicher, da das Wort wohl mit jūṭa zusammenhängt und da auch sonst Büsser und Śiva durch dasselbe Wort bezeichnet werden.
