1) n. — a) die abgestreifte Haut einer Schlange. — b) eine vergängliche Hülle überh. —
2) (*m.). f. (ausnahmsweise) und n. die äussere Eihaut des Embryo , Chorion und der daran sich bildende Fruchtknoten ; daher gewöhnlich Mutterkuchen , Nachgeburt. indrāṇyā ulbajarāyuṇī Name zweier Sāman. —
3) *m. — a) ein best. aus dem unterseeischen Feuer entstandener schaumartiger Stoff auf dem Meere [Rājan 6,79.] — b) = jaṭāyu. —
