Indradhanu (इन्द्रधनु) refers to “Indra’s bow” (i.e. the rainbow), according to the 11th century Jñānārṇava, a treatise on Jain Yoga in roughly 2200 Sanskrit verses composed by Śubhacandra.—Accordingly, “Also, consider that the state of being a mighty lord over gods, snakes and men, which is like a rainbow [com.—similar to (sadṛśam) Indra’s bow (indradhanuḥ) (i.e. the rainbow)], immediately becomes annihilated by itself”.

Indradhanu (इन्द्रधनु).—Name of Indra's bow, the rainbow; स एकव्रा- त्योऽभवत्स धनुरादत्त तदेवेन्द्रधनुः (sa ekavrā- tyo'bhavatsa dhanurādatta tadevendradhanuḥ) Av.15.1.6.
