Nach dem Comm. zu [Aśvalāyana’s Śrautasūtrāni 1, 2, 26] heissen so in den Sūtra die zwölf Ṛtvij nach Abrechnung der vier Hauptpriester (mukhya), nicht aber eine Siebenoder Dreizahl (s. unter hotar). [Aitareyabrāhmaṇa 2, 36.] praṇetā hotrakāṇāṃ maitrāvaruṇaḥ [6, 6.] die drei (nach Comm.) [8. 13. fg.] mukhyānpṛthagghotrakāḥ [Aśvalāyana’s Śrautasūtrāni 5, 6, 17.] śastriṇaḥ heissen Praśāstar, Brāhmaṇācchaṃsin und Acchāvāka (vgl.
