[Medinīkoṣa r. 152.] caṇḍairḍamaranirghoṣairghargharaṃ śrutavāndhvanim [Rājataraṅgiṇī 2, 99.] babhāṣe harṣavāṣpāmbughargharākṣarajarjaram [Kathāsaritsāgara 25, 66.] Hier wohl eher adj. gegurgelt, unter Gegurgel hervorgebracht. - Gelächter [Hemacandra’s Abhidhānacintāmaṇi 296.] — b) Eule [Trikāṇḍaśeṣa 2, 5, 14.] [Hemacandra’s Anekārthasaṃgraha] [Medinīkoṣa] — c) Spreufeuer [Bhūriprayoga im Śabdakalpadruma] — d) Vorhang (caladvār) [Hemacandra’s Anekārthasaṃgraha] [Medinīkoṣa] Thür [Medinīkoṣa] [Śabdakalpadruma] giebt caladvār durch parvatadvāra wieder und [WILSON] hat diesem entsprechend: Gebirgspass. Offenbar haben sie acaladvār gelesen, was wohl in [Medinīkoṣa] denkbar ist, aber nicht in [Hemacandra’s Anekārthasaṃgraha], da hier das Wort am Anfange des Verses steht. vastraghargharī wird [Trikāṇḍaśeṣa 3, 3, 239] und [Hemacandra’s Anekārthasaṃgraha 3, 373] zur Erklärung von calanī ein Unterrock von Frauenzimmern niederen Standes gebraucht. Schliesslich ist noch zu bemerken, dass wohl ein Vorhang, aber nicht ein Gebirgspass nach einem Geräusch benannt sein könne. — e) Nomen proprium eines Flusses [Hemacandra’s Anekārthasaṃgraha] [Medinīkoṣa] —
