2) gaṇḍikā oder gaṇḍikākāra eine Art Getränk(?): na gaṇḍikākārayogaṃ kareṇuṃ na cārisomaṃ prapibāmi sagt Indra zu Agni [Mahābhārata 14, 247.] —
3) aparagaṇḍikāḥ ( [Mahābhārata 6, 230]) und pūrvapūrvānugaṇḍikā ( [Mahābhārata 6, 282]) Nn. prr. von Localitäten. In diesen Verbindungen bedeutet gaṇḍikā viell. Abhang (von gaṇḍa Wange) und anugaṇḍikā das daran gelegene Land. — Vgl. kālagaṇḍikā .
