Galla (गल्ल):—m. die Gegend der Backe neben den Mundwinkeln [Hemacandra’s Abhidhānacintāmaṇi 582.] Nach Andern: Backe [Scholiast] Vgl. ajagallikā, wo das letzte Wort eher die herabhängenden fleischigen Lappen am Halse der Ziege (woher diese den Namen galastanī erhalten hat) als die Wange bezeichnet.
