1) m. (*n.) (adj. Comp. f. ā) — a) das Gelüste schwangerer Frauen nach bestimmten Dingen — b) heftiges Verlangen , Gelüste nach (Loc. oder im Comp. vorangehend) überh. [Kād. (1872) 130,13.139,22.] — c) das Gelüste von Pflanzen besteht in dem unwiderstehlichen Verlangen mit einem Körpertheile einer schönen Jungfrau in Berührung zu kommen , um dadurch die Geburt der Blüthen zu ermöglichen. — d) ein best. Räucherwerk , das eine Mannichfaltigkeit in den Früchten bewirken soll.
