Daṃṣṭrika (दंष्ट्रिक):—(von daṃṣṭrā)

1) adj. proparox. mit Fangzähnen versehen gaṇa vrīhyādi zu [Pāṇini’s acht Bücher 5, 2, 116.] —

2) f. ā a) = dāḍhikā [Hemacandra’s Abhidhānacintāmaṇi 583.] Dieses wird durch Bart erklärt, aber der Schol. des H. trennt die beiden Artikel. — b) eine best. Pflanze (mahr. laghumugusakāṃdā) [NIGH. PR.]; vgl. nakuleṣṭā .
