Āvedha (आवेध):—(von vyadh mit ā) m. das Schütteln: tataḥ sabhyāḥ kururājasya tasya vākyaṃ sarve praśaśaṃsustathoccaiḥ . celāvedhāṃścāpi cakruḥ (als Beifallsbezeugung) [Mahābhārata 2, 2367]; vgl. cakrurbāhusvanāṃścaiva tathā celāvadhūnanam (cailāvadhū ed.
