Ātmopajīvin (आत्मोपजीविन्):—(ā + upa) adj. von seiner Hände Arbeit lebend [Manu’s Gesetzbuch 7, 138. 8, 362.] An der letzten Stelle erklärt [Kullūka] das Wort sehr künstlich durch der von seiner Frau lebt: bhāryā putraḥ svakā tanurityuktatvāt bhāryaivātmā anayā upajīvanti dhanalābhāya .
