1. To give up completely, renounce altogether; முற்றும் நீக்குதல். உனது மிலது மறவிட்டு [murrum nikkuthal. unathu milathu maravittu] (ஞானவாசிட்டம் மானுவே. [gnanavasittam manuve.] 17).
2. To sell off; விற்றல். ஆபத்துக் காலத்திலே அறவிட்டு ஜீவிப்பாரும் [virral. apathug kalathile aravittu jivipparum] (ஈடு-முப்பத்தாறுயிரப்படி [idu-muppatharuyirappadi], 3, 6, 9).
