Antastha (अन्तस्थ):—gaṇa gahādi .

1) = anta + stha adj. am Ende stehend [Yāska’s Nirukta 10, 17.] —

2) = antar + stha im Innern stehend: a) m. oder f. sthā die Laute ya, ra, la, va [Prātiśākhya zum Ṛgveda 1, 2.] [Prātiśākhya zur Vājasaneyisaṃhitā 4, 101.] [Yāska’s Nirukta 2, 2.] [Siddhāntakaumudī 1], b, [?16. Pāraskara’s Gṛhyasūtrāṇi 1, 16. in morgenländischen Gesellschaft 7, 532.
