Abhisārin (अभिसारिन्):—(von sar mit abhi)

1) adj. zu Jmd gehend, den Geliebten besuchend: samudrābhisāriṇī (von einem Flusse, mit dem eben erwähnten Nebenbegriffe). —

2) riṇī (sc. triṣṭubh) die Zulaufende, d. h. einem andern Metrum sich Zuwendende; so heisst diejenige Triṣṭubh, in welcher zwei Pāda zwölfsilbig sind. virājajāgatau pādau yo vācetyabhisāriṇī [Prātiśākhya zum Ṛgveda 16, 42]; das Beispiel [Ṛgveda 10, 23, 5.] zeigt [?11 + 11, 12 + 12.]
