This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 21.50

ततो पुण्यगन्धा सुखोष्णा प्रभूता लहुं प्रेमणीया हिता मानुषाणां ।
शिवा नन्दनीया तुषारानुबद्धा दुवे वारिधारा नभे उद्गतासुः ॥ ५० ॥

tato puṇyagandhā sukhoṣṇā prabhūtā lahuṃ premaṇīyā hitā mānuṣāṇāṃ |
śivā nandanīyā tuṣārānubaddhā duve vāridhārā nabhe udgatāsuḥ || 50 ||

Two pitchers of water suddenly appeared in the sky, one fragrant, pleasantly warm, agreeable and beneficial to man, the other healthful, invigorating and icy cold. (50)
